Diego Carvajal

Diego Carvajal was a former practicing attorney before joining VallotKarp as a consultant. Working as a lawyer for 8 years at two law firms (Cadwalader and Hogan Lovells), Diego represented corporations, financial institutions, and sovereign countries on a broad range of international finance transactions. He then worked as associate general counsel for Sterling National Bank.

Over the past 6 years, Diego has leveraged his legal and international background to help clients launch global DEI solutions, with experience spearheading DEI strategic plans, mentoring programs, culture assessments, and DEI educational programming in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He also works on-set and in consultation with TV shows including America's Got Talent, Project Runway, and the Real Housewives franchise

Born in Bolivia, Diego is fluent in English and Spanish and has experience working with Spanish speaking teams in the United States and the Americas. He also draws from more than 10 years of experience as an improv instructor to help clients better understand how to build cohesive and high-performing teams.

He holds a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. from New York University. He serves on the Lideres board of LatinoJustice.
