  • Change is inevitable and it brings with it both challenges and opportunities. When embraced, change can stimulate growth, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement. For managers, especially, the ability to lead and manage change is paramount. By honing these skills, managers can guide their teams, reduce stress, and mitigate uncertainty. This workshop equips both managers and team members with the tools they need to implement change and navigate the emotional aspects involved.

  • For many, the word “conflict” evokes images of fighting, anger, and lingering tension. Often perceived as disruptive, conflict is a natural aspect of workplace dynamics that, when managed skillfully, can lead to constructive outcomes. This workshop teaches participants how to effectively resolve both interpersonal and team conflicts that can impact productivity and morale. Participants will also gain practical tools and strategies to navigate and defuse conflicts (one-to-one as well as conflicts within teams), transforming them into opportunities for team growth and enhanced collaboration.

  • In today's interconnected world, understanding and respecting diverse cultural perspectives is essential for success. This workshop helps individuals develop cross-cultural competencies to enable them to work more effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Participants leave this workshop with increased awareness of how cultural assumptions can impede effectiveness as well as practical tools to help them adapt their behavior when engaging in cross-difference interactions.

  • Successful teams are aligned on their goals, roles, and responsibilities. They also create environments where each person feels valued and included. As teams move through different stages of team development members need to learn how to communicate effectively, manage conflicts, give and receive feedback, build trust, and stay focused on outcomes. This workshop helps team members “up their game” and become better positioned to achieve their goals.

  • Psychological safety is the cornerstone of inclusive and high-performing teams. When team members feel secure in speaking up, asking questions, and taking risks without fear of judgment or reprisal, innovation flourishes and collaboration thrives. Conversely, the absence of psychological safety can have profound consequences, stifling creativity, eroding trust, and hampering team effectiveness. Through the use of assessments and case studies, participants explore the degree to which psychological safety currently exists and learn techniques to increase it.

Managers often struggle to provide effective feedback, particularly across differences. This workshop provides participants with a 5-step process for delivering feedback and tools for both eliciting and receiving feedback.

  • Attrition rates of junior associates differ for various demographic groups. Creating a culture that sets all junior associates up for success should be every firm’s priority. This workshop offers tools and techniques for mid-level and senior associates as well as partners focused on building effective relationships, monitoring how work is assigned, and making sure that every associate receives real-time feedback. By cultivating a culture that values the development and growth of all associates, firms can not only retain top talent but also empower junior associates to reach their full potential. An alternative version of this workshop, entitled “Setting yourself up for success” provides junior associates with tools and techniques to actively engage in their own professional development.

  • Mid-level associates face numerous workplace challenges, including managing relationships – with junior associates, peers, and people who are in more senior roles. Demographic differences (e.g., generation, gender, race/ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation) can put additional strain on these interactions. This workshop provides associates with tools to help them manage these challenges: 1) enhancing emotional intelligence 2) understanding how others experience the world and 3) giving and soliciting real-time feedback.

  • Senior associates play a critical role in shaping firm culture based on how they interact with their teams and each other. By enhancing their leadership skills and promoting an inclusive culture, senior associates can accelerate their own professional development. Through practical scenario-based learning, participants will identify practical ways to handle challenging situations and manage team dynamics effectively.

  • Everyone needs mentors and sponsors to help accelerate their professional development. We help mentors and mentees as well as sponsors and sponsees understand their respective roles, build trusting relationships that foster open communication, and develop strategies to address the subtle dynamics that can impede professional development and advancement.

  • In today’s global and often polarized work environment, the ability to manage challenging conversations is crucial for leaders and managers. This workshop equips participants with the skills to transform contentious exchanges into constructive dialogues. Participants will learn how to foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages open discussions that respect different perspectives, ensuring these conversations enhance rather than disrupt workplace productivity.

  • Creating a respectful workplace goes beyond legal obligations—it's about fostering a culture of dignity and safety.  This dynamic workshop empowers all employees to understand their critical roles in preventing any form of harassment. Participants will learn the importance of monitoring power dynamics, how to identify early signs of inappropriate behavior, and ways to effectively respond to prevent escalation. We'll review the legal landscape at the city, state, and federal levels and provide actionable strategies for both employees and managers to maintain a respectful workplace environment.

  • Inclusive workplaces don’t just happen. In this workshop, we explore each employee’s role in creating an inclusive culture. We also examine the benefits of acknowledging the many aspects of identity (background, experience, perspective) that each person brings into the workplace, the importance of taking the time to build authentic relationships, and the value of ensuring that all decision-making processes are fair and provide equal opportunities to all. Discover how these concepts directly impact your bottom line while participating in discussions and interactive exercises about the behaviors that can either enhance or derail inclusion and belonging efforts.

  • Bias not only undermines a commitment to fairness, excellence, and meritocracy, it also can negatively impact a broad range of decisions and interactions. It can influence who’s hired, who’s selected for high-profile projects, and who receives constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring. This workshop explores how biases can impede the organization’s ability to attract, retain, and develop the broadest pool of top talent. For those who want a deeper dive, we also offer workshops focused on identifying and interrupting bias in hiring and performance review processes
