When organizations actively maintain respectful work environments, they minimize the likelihood that harassment will occur.
Harassment Prevention Training Programs
Managers and organizational leaders are the guardians of organizational environment. Making sure that managers communicate well, and administer programs and policies in a fair manner are increasingly important to every law firm and organization. Good communication and equitable policies and procedures, however, do not "just happen"; they require conscious attention and an ongoing effort.
We help our clients develop appropriate policies and procedures to address issues of preventing harassment, bias or retaliation. Our "Building Respectful Work Relationships" training seminar teaches participants how to identify what constitutes appropriate and inappropriate workplace behavior. By using the frame of "appropriateness," an organization can try to address issues preemptively, before they approach the level of sexual harassment or discrimination.
