To effectively link diversity and inclusion to the bottom line, an organization must first have a clear and objective understanding of its culture and behaviors.

Culture Assessments

Not everyone experiences an organization the same way. Some people feel more comfortable than others and can see a future with the firm or organization. Others feel more like outsiders and have difficulty envisioning a future there. A culture assessment provides a snapshot of perceptions, experiences and challenges of a cross-section of people in the organization.

Since people are often more willing to be candid with external consultants, we can gather information about successes and challenges and then identify themes or issues related to particular groups. The culture assessment often serves as a framework for getting from “where we are today” to developing a vision of “where we want to be” and a strategy for “how to get there.” Culture assessments also provide a baseline for tracking and measuring future progress.
